We are honored to announce that applications are now open for the Bonnie Rich Humiston (BRH) Scholarships. With a recent generous donor we are awarding 2 annual scholarships of $1,000 each to qualified trainees in the Feldenkrais Method® for 2026.
These support the longevity and vibrancy of our community and are designed for those who demonstrate a deep commitment to somatic education and a clear vision for their future as practitioners.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: 35 years of age or younger.
- Enrolment: Pre-enrolled in an Accredited Feldenkrais Training Program in North America overseen by an Educational Director.
- Intent: A firm intention to graduate and practice the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education professionally.
- Verification: A letter from your Educational Director confirming your enrollment and pending grant status.
How to Apply
The heart of your application is a personal essay. We want to hear your story! Please submit an essay that:
- Introduces who you are and your background
- Describes your passion for the Feldenkrais Method
- Explains why you aspire to become a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (CM)
Important Dates & Details
- Application Window: January 1st through November 30th annually.
- Selection: The FEFNA Board will announce the scholarship winners in February of the following year.
- Award Disbursement: The $1,000 award will be issued to the winning candidates upon successful completion of their training and registration as a certified FGNA member.
